The yellow/black grid print with a choice of metric or inch scales enables precise marking on both dark and light-colored fabrics. The scratch-resistant laser print on the underside of the ruler eliminates optical distortion. Thick, durable material ensures that rotary cutters and draw knives are guided securely on the cutting surface. Some versions of the Omnigrid rulers also have angle markings of 30, 45 and 60 degrees for cutting triangles and diamonds as well as diagonal strips. An eyelet for hanging up also keeps the workstation tidy.
