ADULT BEGINNER – Learn to Sew a Notebook Pencil Case – 22nd Jan 2025

In this class, you will learn how to sew a cute and practical pencil case with elastic band to attach to a notebook or diary. All fabric and materials are provided. 

As with all Learn to Sew classes, this class is ideal for brand new and beginner sewists. You’ll learn machine basics, such as winding a bobbin, threading the machine, and using basic construction stitches. You will also walk away with the knowledge to work with a zipper. Don’t be intimidated, just sign up!

COST INCLUDES:

• Tuition and required materials
• Access to our cutting table and ironing station.
  
  

GAIN CONFIDENCE IN:

• How to thread your machine, wind your bobbin, etc.
• Working with woven fabrics
• Sewing multiple layers of fabric.
  
• Working with a zipper
  
  

WHAT TO BRING:

• A working sewing machine.
• Sewing Kit:  Polyester thread, thread snips, fabric scissors, tailors chalk/pencil or water soluble fabric marker, sewing pins, seam ripper/un-picker

• Classes, once booked, are non-refundable.
  
• Should Fabric Romance cancel a class and we are unable to reschedule, a full refund will be made within 10 business days, however, a refund will not be issued for any classes cancelled due to extreme weather conditions or any other event beyond our control.
