PILAR Jacket Sewing Pattern by Maison Fauve

Pilar is the iconic denim jacket with a twist:  A nice straight cut, not too wide, not too short, and stitched darts on the front of the jacket and the option of adding a nice box pleat to the back.

Sizing: EU 34 - 52 / UK 6 - 24

Skill Level: Intermediate

Fabric Suggestions:
Classic denim fabric, but also a medium weight wool, jacquard or gabardine, ideally around 350 g/m2.

Fabric Requirements: (140 cm wide fabric)

Supplies:

• 11 buttons of 15 to 20 mm (you can choose "real" denim jacket buttons but also covered buttons, buttons with holes, etc.)
• Optional: 1m lightweight fusible interfacing such as Vlieseline G700
  (if you are using a fabric other than denim, lighter or softer, put iron-on on 1 of the collar pieces, the facing, the flaps, half of the cuffs and the waistband)
