The Shay pattern is a maxi dress with a wide scoop neck and fitted bodice. The skirt has three gathered tiers. There are elbow length puff sleeves or a tank option for both views. View A finishes with a centre back invisible zipper. View B finishes with centre front buttons.
Sizing: 0 - 30 / UK 4 - 34. With 4 bust cup options

Fabric Suggestions:
Rayon challis, rayon twill, rayon voile, cotton lawn, cotton voile, linen, chambray. This style is designed for a light to medium weight woven. The bodice is lined. It is recommended to use a medium to heavy weight bodice lining fabric to help maintain structure.
Fabric Requirements: (137 cm wide fabric)
| View A and B (with sleeves): 3 1/4 – 4 1/4 yd (3 – 3.9 m) |
| View A and B (tank): 3 – 4 yd (2.7 – 3.7 m) |
| Bodice lining: 3/4 – 1 yd (0.7 – 0.9 m) |
Supplies:
- 2 yd (1.8 m) of tricot fusible interfacing
- Views A: 1 8″ (46 cm) invisible zipper for the centre back; hook and eye (optional)
- View B: Fifteen to eighteen 1/2″ (12.7 mm) buttons for the centre front.
