Soft and heavy cotton knit with a delicious coarse texture. It's stretchable, but not elastic (it is 100% organic cotton), so it's not like an elastic rib knit. It does however have some natural stretch due to the ribbed texture. You can use it for hems and other finishing edges on jackets etc. and it's also great for a jacket-style cardigan or sweater.
