LA CHEMISE Shirt Sewing Pattern by Atelier Brunette

The CHEMISE is a loose-fit boyfriend shirt revisited with the Atelier Brunette style.
It has an oversized maxi cut embellished with feminine details that give it an assertive beauty.

VERSION A (without armhole cutout) - Loose fitting buttoned shirt with bevel cut in front and charming French collar, ample batwing sleeve and rounded hem.

VERSION B (with armhole cutout) - The same character as version A with an additional cutout at the back sleeve. This cutout will be your best friend when sewing with stripes, so that you will be perfectly aligned.

Sizing: XS - XL 

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Fabric Suggestions:
VERSION A: All fabrics (except fabrics with stripes)
VERSION B: Soft fabrics such as viscose, or cotton linen blends. Use textured / striped , fine wale corduroy for a more structured look (e.g. as overshirt). For a more relaxed, laidback look use fabrics with a cotton or linen blend.  Also suitable for colour blocking or mixing graphics with solids.
