ADULT BEGINNER – Learn to Sew a reversible Origami Bag – 15th Jan 2025

In this class, you will learn how to sew a reversible origami bag. Also referred to as a bento or market bag, this is essentially a slouchy style shopper. All fabric and materials are provided. 

This is an incredible class if you are new to sewing and want to make a fashionable and sustainable shopping bag. As with all Learn to Sew classes, this class is ideal for brand new and beginner sewists. You’ll learn machine basics, such as winding a bobbin, threading the machine, and using basic construction stitches. 

COST INCLUDES:

• Tuition and required materials
• Access to our cutting table and ironing station.
  
  

GAIN CONFIDENCE IN:

• How to thread your machine, wind your bobbin, etc.
• Working with woven fabrics
• Sewing multiple layers of fabric.
  
  

WHAT TO BRING:

• A working sewing machine.
• Sewing Kit:  Polyester thread, thread snips, fabric scissors, tailors chalk/pencil or water soluble fabric marker, sewing pins, seam ripper/un-picker

• Classes, once booked, are non-refundable.
  
• Should Fabric Romance cancel a class and we are unable to reschedule, a full refund will be made within 10 business days, however, a refund will not be issued for any classes cancelled due to extreme weather conditions or any other event beyond our control.
